Mid-90s, scattered storms forecast for Central Florida

Temperatures will feel like 100 degrees in Orlando area

ORLANDO, Fla. – As summer rolls on in Central Florida, so does the same weather pattern: hot with a chance for rain.

The high temperature in Orlando on Thursday is expected to reach 94 degrees, but the "feels like" temperature will be above 100.

"The east-coast sea breeze will push inland and lead to a few storms Thursday afternoon," said Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges, who added that the coverage of rain in Central Florida will be 30 percent.

Overnight lows will be in the mid-70s.

Rain chances increase to 40 percent for Friday into the weekend.

High temperatures will stay in the low 90s through the weekend.
