U.S. naval officer surprises daughter at school

Same day he surprised his son at his school

AVALON PARK, Fla. – To kick off the Memorial weekend, a 2-year-old at Primerose School got a surprise worth celebrating.

U.S. Navy Petty Officer Ryan Fountine showed up a week ago to surprise his daughter at her school after attending the school of his son, Adam's school, earlier that day.

Primerose School at Avalon Park, in Orlando, celebrated the return of Fountine by helping set up a surprise for his daughter, Elena.

Elena was playing on the playground when Fountine showed up after seven months' deployment on board a Navy submarine.

She originally thought her grandmother was coming to pick her up.

In the video posted above, her older brother said, "Dad's never going back to work."
