PALM COAST, Fla. – The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a missing child alert Tuesday for the 3-year-old Palm Coast boy believed to be with his mother and his mother's boyfriend, who is an escaped state prisoner.

Officials say Xander Quigley, who is listed as missing and endangered, may be with his mother, Natasha Quigley, and Gary Bullock Jr., an inmate who failed to return to a community release center off US-92 in Daytona Beach Friday afternoon.

Officials with the Florida Department of Corrections said Bullock worked maintenance at El Caribe Resort in Daytona Beach. He reported to work Friday at 8 a.m., but didn't return to the prison at 5 p.m. and cut off his GPS ankle monitor. Bullock was in the Community Release Center for inmates who are nearing release.

Xander is described by deputies as a white male with short blond hair and hazel eyes, 3 feet tall with a thin build. He was last seen in the 90th block of Port Royal Drive in Palm Coast.

Bullock is described by officials as a white man with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 176 pounds. He has a tattoo on his right arm with Japanese letters, records show.

Natasha Quigley, who lives in Bunnell, is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 175 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She is believed to have stolen a gun among other items before picking up Bullock, meaning he could be armed, according to deputies.

Authorities say the trio may be in a 2010 Chevy Cobalt with Florida license plate tag "EUJL31." A past photo of their car was released on Wednesday.

Quigley is facing aiding escaped charges. Bullock was jailed on grand theft, armed robbery and assault charges.

The U.S. Marshal's Service is leading the investigation, along with Volusia and Flagler authorities. Flagler County Sheriff's Office entered Xander into the Florida Crime Information Center and National Crime Information Center as a missing child on Tuesday.
