ST. CLOUD, Fla. - St. Cloud police said they found a teenager that went missing last week.
Amanda Haynes, 15, disappeared from her Montana Avenue home Sunday night.
Denise Haynes said she was worried sick about her daughter, adding that she can't eat or sleep while wondering where her daughter may be.
"There is no get up in the morning because there is no go to sleep at night," said Denise Haynes. "There is no quiet. Thoughts are running through your head constantly wondering what if, what if, what if."
Denise Haynes last saw her daughter in her room. She said she was headed to bed when Amanda crawled out her window to meet up with friends at Hungry Howie's, except this time she didn't make it home.
Amanda has no phone but uses Facebook. Her page, however, has no recent activity.
"I want to feel like she's safe, I really do. I want to think that she's safe and staying with some friends, but with no contact, no communication, I'm scared for the worst, very much so," said Denise Haynes.
She fears something happened to her daughter and that she may be somewhere where she can't get away.
Denise Haynes has been turning her anxiety into action, passing out fliers around town, actively searching and working with police, but she said her only comfort will come when she can hear from her daughter.
Denise Haynes told Local 6 police are in touch with a 17-year-old boy who may have seen her last.
"Reach out to somebody, anybody and just say, 'I'm OK,'" pleaded Denise Haynes.
St. Cloud police said they were able to locate Haynes and that she was safe and in good health.
Officials said she was re-united with her family Friday night.
