Florida Highway Patrol said they were searching for an SUV that crashed through a fence and kept driving when they found the SUV parked and Capers fighting with another woman.

Capers' 2-month-old baby, along with her one-year-old and 3-year-old children were found inside of the vehicle without their seat belts on, troopers said.

According to the arrest report, Capers said she hit the fence while swerving after spotting the father of her children walking down the street.

Capers then told officers "I'm not going to lie officer, I was trying to kill him," the report states.

The man was not hurt.
