Mom, daughter arrested on prostitution charges in Osceola County

Cops: 3 children found in home where duo set up sexual encounter

POINCIANA, Fla. – Osceola County deputies arrested a mother and daughter on prostitution charges after deputies say the duo set up a sexual encounter with an undercover officer.

Leslie and Tracy Mowatt are facing charges of prostitution and child neglect.

Deputies said they found an advertisement posted online by the women while working undercover and made arrangements to meet with the suspects at a home on Beau Rivage Court in Poinciana.

While deputies were searching the house, they found crack cocaine, as well as three children, ages 5 and 10 years old, in a back bedroom. 

Leslie Mowatt was also charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Both Leslie and Tracy Mowatt were booked into the Osecola County Jail. The Department of Children and Families was also notified, and the children were placed into the custody of relatives.
