ORLANDO, Fla. – A 19-year-old woman named Monalisa was arrested Monday in Orange County on allegations of hitting and biting her mother in a fight over a cellphone.
Monalisa Roux was arrested on charges of aggravated battery with great bodily harm.

According to an Orange County arrest affidavit, Roux's mother confronted her daughter over money she believed the teen stole from her.
The woman said she would take Roux's phone away as punishment, so Roux pushed her against a wall and held her there while trying to grab the phone from her mother, the affidavit said.
The woman told authorities that she was hit in the face during the scuffle and her daughter bit her, according to the affidavit.
Another person inside the home tried to break up the fight and was punched, kicked and bitten by Roux, according to authorities.
Roux was arrested and taken to the Orange County Jail.
