ORLANDO, Fla. - Storms will begin to push west on Thursday afternoon just in time for fireworks celebrations.
Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said high pressure off the coast will push in more dry air for Central Florida.
Rain chances will be lower on Thursday afternoon and higher in western counties. Rain chances will be at 30 percent for Orlando and at 20 percent along the coast.
Rain chances will be higher just to the west of Orlando at 40 percent.
"Heavy rain will push closer to the west coast of Florida for the evening hours," Bridges said.
Temperatures will be in the low 90s for the Fourth of July weekend.
