More rain forecast for Central Florida

Weekend shaping up nicely in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – Another wet day is forecast for Central Florida, and cooler temperatures will come along with the wet weather.

There's a 90 percent coverage of rain on Thursday, and the high temperature will reach the mid-80s.  The average high is 88 degrees.

"Tropical moisture moves in from the Bahamas before moving out in time for the weekend," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

The overnight low will be in the mid-60s.

The showers end Friday as drier air comes through.  

Friday's high will be 83 degrees in Orlando.  The overnight low will be 62.

A dry, pleasant weekend is on tap in Central Florida, with a high of 86 on Saturday.  The high will reach 88 Sunday, under mostly sunny skies.
