UPDATE: Missing mother, son from Ocala found in Hollywood

Found early Sunday morning

OCALA, Fla. – An Ocala mother leaves her home with her 9-year-old son for a walk to relax and clear her head and disappears.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office said Tausha Doffermire, 32, has been experiencing stress so she left her home around 7 p.m. Friday with her autistic 9-year-old son to go for a walk to relax and clear her head. Deputies said that Doffermire suffers from several mental health issues and is not on medication at this time.

A friend of Doffermire said that going for a walk is normal behavior for her but she normally returns in an hour or so. 

The Marion County Sheriff's Office contacted News 6 at 9 a.m. Sunday to report that the pair had been located in Hollywood, Florida, early Sunday morning by the Hollywood Police Department. Both were safe.

No information as to why they were in Hollywood was given.
