MELBOURNE, Fla. – A bullet flew through the bedroom window of a Melbourne home late Tuesday, but no injuries were reported, according to police.
The shooting was reported at 10:26 p.m. in the 3400 block of Sparrow Court.

According to Melbourne police, authorities received two emergency calls after gunshots were heard, and officers discovered that a bullet entered a home through a bedroom window.Â
A witness said a possible newer model silver Ford Mustang left the area at a high rate of speed, according to police.
Melbourne police said it's not known whether the home was the primary target or if it was a stray bullet from a nearby disturbance.
There is no evidence that the incident is related to a shooting at the Portofino Villas, police said.
An investigation is ongoing.
