NetTalk , a consumer electronics and telecommunications technology company, is offering an all-new version of its Android app that provides an option to buy calling credits directly from the app.
The company said on Wednesday the original Android app already enables free calling throughout the US and Canada from most Android devices.
The new, version adds the option to purchase calling credits directly through the app itself and from netTALK’s mobile site at discounted rates.
“The number one request from our customers has been to help them avoid high international cellular calling rates," said Anastasios ‘Takis’ Kyriakides, company president and CEO.
Kyriakides says the new edition of the Android app connects consumers “at unbelievably low international calling rates.”
The Android app is available for free download from the Google Play store and the Amazon App Store for Android. A version for the iPhone and iPad will be available in the near future.
