New poster, footage from 'Man of Steel' released

Superman movie set to open in June of 2013

SAN DIEGO, Ca. – An exciting update for comic book fans -- a sneak peak of the new Superman move has premiered, and it's getting great reviews.

At Comic-Con in San Diego on Sunday, Warner Brothers released a new poster for 'Man of Steel', along with the footage.

Critics have been saying that the clips gave them goosebumps.

The footage shows a young Clark Kent saving children from a bus accident, along with Superman flying and catching someone who's falling from a building.

'Man of Steel' stars Henry Cavill as Superman, along with Russell Crowe, Amy Adams, and Kevin Costner. It's set to open in June of 2013.

Meanwhile, the film's director, Zack Snyder, also said on Sunday that a teaser trailer for 'Man of Steel' will play this weekend before the new Batman film, 'The Dark Knight Rises'.

This is the third and final Batman movie in the trilogy from director Christopher Nolan, which opens on Friday, July 20.
