Ocala man accused of innapropriate contact with girl during 'manhunt' game
Deputies say man attempted sexual intercourse with girl younger than 16
Marion County Sheriff's detectives Thursday arrested an Ocala man they say had inappropriate contact with a girl younger than 16 years old.
Frederick D. Wood, 20, was charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious battery after detectives say they learned Wood had inappropriate contact twice with the victim.
Wood admitted to attempting to have sexual intercourse with the victim while playing a game of "manhunt" in a wooded area, according to a police report.
Wood was transported to Marion County Jail, where he is being held on $30,000 bond.
