ORLANDO, Fla. - Despite 18 points from rookie Victor Oladipo and a strong first half start, the Orlando Magic dropped their second game of the preseason 110-105 to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night.
Playing on their home court at the Amway Center for the first time since April 15, things were clicking early for the Magic. They led by as many as 18 in the first half.
However, the Cavaliers rallied behind the number 1 overall pick in this year's draft.
Cavs rookie forward Anthony Bennett scored all of his 18 points in the fourth quarter.
The Magic's first round pick stood out as well. Oladipo, coming off the bench, not only led the Magic in scoring on 7 of 13 shooting, but also on the glass, finishing with a game-high 8 rebounds.
Nik Vucevic chipped in with 15 points as head coach Jacque Vaughn continues to experiment with different lineups.
The Magic, 0-2 in the preseason, visit Dallas on Monday.
