As Lake County prepares for the first day of school on Monday, the school district is using a new tool for parents to check students' bus routes.
According to the Lake County School District website, new bus routes will be used this year because of a new bell schedule.

An online guide allows students and parents to check out the new routes. Users visiting the website can type in an address, and the system will show if the student is eligible for bus transportation, along with the nearest bus stop and morning and afternoon arrival times.
