Orange County deputies seek man who robbed Orlando gas station
Deputies say gunman pulled out, pushed shotgun to clerk's face
Deputies released video Thursday of a gunman caught on tape with a shotgun threatening two clerks at a Kangaroo Express gas station on Silver Star Road.
Deputies said the gunman walked into the gas station on Oct. 30 and pulled a shotgun out, pushing it into the face of one of the clerks.
"That's point-blank range. That's a shotgun. That's scary," said Colby Carpinelli, a customer at the gas station.
The clerk quickly grabbed all the money from both registers and handed it over. Within just a minute of entering the gas station, the robber was gone.
"I'm really, really shocked because nothing like that happens on this side of town," said Devona Luiz.
Luiz told Local 6, it's her neighborhood gas station.
"It makes you not want to come out after dark," said Luiz. "I could have been coming to put gas in the car that night."
Deputies have released a composite sketch of the suspect. He's between the ages of 35 and 45. The clerk believed he was between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall.
The suspect was wearing a dark baseball cap, tan or khaki jacket with a quilted design, along the shoulder area, and blue jeans.
