Orange County firefighters host T-shirt contest to raise money to fight pediatric cancer

Top 3 designs to be sold to public

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Orange County firefighters need your help in the fight against pediatric cancer, with their Fight Together for a Cure T-Shirt Contest.

Pediatric cancer patients from Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Florida Hospital for Children and Nemours Children's Hospital created T-shirt designs. You can vote for your favorite on the Orange County Professional Firefighter website. The winning design will adorn the on-duty T-shirts the Orange County firefighters wear during the month of October.

Firefighters will purchase their own shirts, and the top three designs will be for sale to the public.

Money raised will be divided among the pediatric oncology units at the three Central Florida children's hospitals.

Voting runs through Sept.1. The winner will be announced Sept. 3.
