ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida’s most popular holiday light show is going dim.
Orange County Parks and Recreation has pulled the plug on the annual Festival of Lights event in Cypress Grove Park, because of traffic concerns.
The holiday event ran for 14 years, but was cut short last year because of thousands of cars that jammed the area to see the display of lights.
Workers can’t handle that amount of traffic, the parks department told the Orlando Sentinel.
