Woof Gang Bakery plans October opening in DeLand

DeLAND, Fla. – The Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming franchise hopes to tap into part of an estimated 73-million pet owners with an aggressive expansion in five states including Florida, Georgia ,North Carolina, New Jersey and Texas.

The Orlando based company announced DeLand will be the home to its 28th franchise with an opening set for October 6.

Susan Gregg of Deltona owns the DeLand store located on 1431 Orange Camp Road.

Gregg says the store will offer full-service grooming, pet foods and supplies.
The a long time dog owner says she wants" to provide information so people can make healthy choices for their pets."

Gregg knows a few things about pets, she says she owns two Greater Swiss Mountain dogs, a rescue cat and a cockatiel.

"I want to provide information so people can make healthy choices for their pets," she said.

Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming offers an alternative to the larger pet franchise stores offering natural pet foods,treats, and grooming services.

Gregg says her store "is happy to host pet parties and meet-up groups."

Americans will spend more than $52 billion this year on pet supplies, care and grooming, including an estimated $4.11 billion in spending just on services such as grooming.
