ORLANDO, Fla. - A man staying at an Orlando hotel was taken to a hospital after he said he was stabbed by his girlfriend.
The incident occurred around 1 a.m. Thursday at the Days Inn on 33rd Street just east of Interstate 4.
According to the hotel clerk, the phone at the front desk rang twice, but the caller hung up both times.
"About two minutes later, he comes running to the lobby. He came around the desk, and he was bleeding really bad," the clerk said.
She also said the man told her he was stabbed in the neck and stomach by his girlfriend during an argument.
The clerk called 911, and the man was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. His condition is not known.
The girlfriend ran away after the incident, and it's not known if she's been located.
