Orlando has been named the No. 1 foodie city in America, according to WalletHub

"Foodies" are people who enjoy eating recreationally. This group of enthusiastic eaters enjoys eating at culinary hot spots and trying unique foods.

The list compared the best and cheapest food scenes among the 150 largest cities. Things compared on the list included: cost of groceries, number of food festivals per capita and prevalence of affordable restaurants rated at least 4.5 stars.

Overall, Orlando ranked No. 1 in "diversity, accessibility and quality" rank and No. 19 in "affordability."

In the minor categories, Orlando ranked No. 1 in most restaurants per capita, most ice cream and frozen yogurt shops per capita and most gourmet specialty-food stores per capita.

It looks like Florida is a great place to be if you're a foodie. Miami made the list at No. 3 while Tampa came in at No. 4 and Fort Lauderdale at No. 12.
