ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando will host men's NCAA basketball tournament games in 2014 after a 10-year absence as a hosting site.
The NCAA announced Monday that Orlando will stage the second- and third-round games at the 2-year-old Amway Center, which is also home to the NBA's Orlando Magic.
The games will be hosted locally by nearby Stetson University and the Central Florida Sports Commission, in a partnership with the City of Orlando, Orange County and the University of Central Florida.
It will be the first time Orlando has hosted men's NCAA basketball tournament games since 2004. Games were also previously held in the city in 1993, 1996, and 1999.
