KISSIMMEE, Fla. -

Two inmates who disappeared from a work release program Tuesday are now in custody, Osceola County deputies say.

Claudio Poillot and Sixto Martinez-Rodriguez left the facility at 5:40 a.m. to walk to the J.S. Son's Construction, Inc. on East Carroll Street in Kissimmee where they work, according to deputies.

Poillot and Martinez-Rodriguez called their Department of Corrections supervisor at 6:10 a.m. to let him know they had arrived, but at 6:50 a.m. the construction company owner contacted DOC and said the inmates were unaccounted for, deputies said.

Warrants were issued on Tuesday afternoon for escape charges. Deputies announced after 9 p.m. Tuesday that Poillot was taken into custody and returned to the Kissimmee Work Release Center.

Martinez-Rodriguez was found Thursday evening by Osceola County deputies and taken into custody.

Both men have extensive criminal histories, including grand theft, drug charges and burglary charges.
