Otronicon returns to Orlando Science Center
It's a four-day celebration of interactive technology, "Otronicon" features larger-than-life video game experiences, state-of-the-art medical and military simulators, and so much more.
On Thursday, Local 6 got a sneak peak of the expo at the Orlando Science Center.
One of the technologies featured- an "Ekso suite," a wearable robot that allows paraplegics to walk.
The Disability Wellness Center in Sanford is in the process of bringing the technology to town.
"This is the only way to get them to stand up straight, be able to walk, feel what it's like to walk, it great for heath, muscle tone, bone density, you name it," said David Kiswani, a quadriplegic who tried on the suit himself.
The event is open from Jan. 17 to Jan. 20.
