An exit ramp on Florida's Turnpike has reopened after a semi-truck carrying bags of cement overturned Wednesday evening.

Florida Highway Patrol said the crash occurred southbound on the Turnpike as the truck attempted to exit onto the Beachline.

Troopers said as the truck was exiting, it overturned and spilled cement on the roadway.

The truck driver was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The ramp was closed Wednesday evening until the crash cleared. Troopers said the ramp reopened after 8 p.m. Wednesday.
