OVIEDO, Fla. -
Brother of Florida Gator quarterback Jeff Driskel, Jason got things going for the Huskies in the second. Driskel passed the ball five times on the drive and hooked up with his wide receiver Andrew Tarr, which got Hagerty to the Oviedo's 15-yard line.
The very next play, Driskel found his other wide out, Paul King, for the 15-yard touchdown. The pass and catch tied the game up at 7.
But the Lions would respond. After a solid drive, running back Jurrell Green found the end zone on a 7-yard scamper and following the extra point, Oviedo would go up 14-7 and take the lead into the half.
The second half was all Lions.
After another great drive, Green would finish it off with a 17-yard touchdown, which put Oviedo up 21-7.
Still in the third quarter, the captain of the Lions would seal the deal. Quarterback Chris Davis Jr. took the quarterback keeper for 28 yards to pay dirt. The touchdown put Oviedo up 28-7.
The Lions would tack on two more touchdowns to win the rivalry game 42-14.
