Package of cocaine washes ashore on Cocoa Beach

2-pound package turned over to federal investigators

COCOA BEACH, Fla. – There was a disturbing find on a Brevard County beach.

Officials say a 2-pound package of cocaine washed ashore Thursday near Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach.

Officials say the cocaine will be turned over to either the Drug Enforcement Agency or U.S. Border Patrol.
