PALM BAY, Fla. – A Palm Bay man was sentenced to almost 20 years in federal prison and a lifetime of supervised released on Thursday on distribution of child pornography.
Task force members arrested Rafael Gonzalez, 51, a registered sexual predator, on child pornography violations in a 2011 Operation Safe Summer initiative. Gonzalez pleaded guilty in March 2012 to distribution of child pornography.

Gonzalez had previously been convicted of sexual battery on two minor children in the state of Florida and was serving a state probationary sentence for that crime at the time of his arrest.
