Parking space sparks road rage incident in Volusia County

Woman tells Local 6 a man pulled a gun on her over parking spot

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. – Jeannine Madden of Ormond Beach didn't think she'd make it home on Wednesday night.

After an argument over a parking spot at the gas station on N Ocean Shore Blvd, Madden says a crazed driver wouldn't leave her alone. Madden says the man was driving as a black sports car, through a neighborhood, one hand on the steering wheel, the other holding a gun.

"The gun was pointing in my face, he went about 30 miles an hour, and he rammed into my truck," she said.

Madden put her truck in reverse, and managed to get away. Madden says she didn't get a license plate number, but thinks it was an out-of-county plate.

"I was so focused on what he was going to do, and when he reversed it, all I was looking at was the gun," she said.

Madden says the man had blonde hair, was about 5 feet 11 inches, with a stocky build.
