FHP Public Information Officer Sergeant Gaskins said that because the load was so large, two spotters were walking next to the trailer controlling the dollies with remotes while watching for hazards.

One pedestrian tripped over raised concrete and fell into the path of the trailer.

The second pedestrian tried to help the other when both were hit by the trailer's wheels, which were traveling 2 MPH.

Both men were taken to Lakeland Regional Hospital for their injuries, according to the report.
