Pilot sustains non-life-threatening injuries

GROVELAND, Fla. -

A single-engine experimental aircraft has crashed at an airport in Groveland on Friday morning, according to Lake County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were called to Groveland Airport Road at 9:30 a.m. after received the report of the single-engine, experimental ultralight aircraft crashing.

The pilot was the only occupant and it appears he sustained non-life-threatening injuries, deputies said. 

The pilot was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
