Murder suspect turns himself in to jail
Daytona Beach police said a second man wanted in connection with the death of Dylan Tharp turned himself in to the Volusia County Branch Jail Saturday morning.
Police said 23-year-old Shawn Rupe, who was known to frequent the beachside areas of Atlantic Avenue turned himself in to jail officials.
Rupe was wanted in connection to the Nov. 3, 2012 murder of Dylan Tharp.
Police said 21-year-old Jeremy Maruska was already in jail on murder charges and at one point even bragged about it.
Police said Dylan Tharp's nude body was found on the roof of the Peabody Auditorium after an attack because Maruska and Rupe thought he was a snitch.
An auditorium maintenance worker found Tharp after he noticed debris on the stage and checked a rooftop entrances that had been used by burglars.
