MELBOURNE, Fla. – An underwear-clad man who claimed he was tossed from a black sport utility vehicle into a beachside park by two men was taken to the hospital for further evaluation after paramedics determined he may have suffering from delirium.
Local 6 news partner Florida Today reports police were called about 6:45 a.m. to Howard E. Futch Memorial Park at Paradise Beach, 113 Paradise Blvd., after receiving reports that a man was injured after being thrown from a vehicle.

Melbourne police officers arrived at the park and attempted to talk with the man whom police described as incoherent. Brevard County Fire-Rescue crews were also called to treat him for his injuries.
"We're still investigating it," said Lt. Dan Lynch of Melbourne Police Department.
