Police investigate vehicles, items stolen at gas pumps

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. – Ormond Beach police are investigating several incidents where vehicles have either been stolen or burglarized while patrons are fueling their vehicles at gas stations.

Police said the perpetrators look for any valuables that are left in plain sight. However, in some cases authorities said they have even gone as far as stealing the vehicle if the keys have been left inside the vehicle or if it has been left unlocked.
