LEESBURG, Fla. -

Leesburg police continue to search for a man who attacked a women as she was jogging near a Recreation complex.

Police said around 5 p.m. on December 10 a woman was jogging in the Sleepy Hollow Recreation Complex at 2775 Hollow Lane when an unknown man attacked her.

The victim was running in the sports complex when the suspect lunged at her and pulled her down to the ground. 

Police said the victim began to scream and fight and the suspect told her to stop screaming or he would kill her. 

The victim was able to knock the suspect off her and run away. 

The suspect then ran northwest through the complex towards the baseball fields.

Police said the suspect was a black male, between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 8 inches and about 140 to 160 pounds. He has short black hair, dark brown eyes, and a medium build with chubby cheeks.   Police said the attacker is possibly 17 to 19 years of age.  He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black shoes.
