According to St. Cloud police, numerous 911 calls were made around 6:20 a.m. Monday about a man, later identified as Bay,  running through neighborhoods while "acting bizarre and possibly under the influence of narcotics."

About an hour later, Bay walked onto the campus of Lakeview Elementary on 5th Street in St. Cloud, asked an employee to call 911 and ran away, police said. School was not in session and no one was threatened, police said.  The school was locked down as a precaution, however.

St. Cloud police said Bay then approached a family in a SUV near 5th Street and Columbia Avenue and asked them to take him to a hospital.  The family went inside and called 911, leaving the vehicle unattended with the keys inside, police said.

Bay then drove himself to St. Cloud Hospital in the family's SUV, police said.

Bay was arrested at the hospital and will be taken to the Osceola County Jail.
