Police: Man found shot; hospitalized in critical condition

ORLANDO, Fla. – A 32-year-old man was discovered on the ground with a gunshot wound, late Friday, police said.

The Orlando Police Department said they received a call Friday at 10:38 p.m. of a man down.

When they arrived at the scene in the 4100 block of Colony Way, they discovered a 32-year-old man on the ground with a gunshot wound to his lower body,  police said.

The man was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition and could not be questioned.

Witnesses stated that a possible car was involved and it was a bright red or orange Camaro and that it took off in an unknown direction.

Police said that the car was located in the 3900 block of WD Judge Road in the Palm Grove Apartments. The car had blood inside and appeared to be involved in the shooting incident. No suspects have been located at this time.

Due  to the victim's condition, police have been unable to speak with him.

The investigation is ongoing.
