Man makes off with undisclosed amount of cash from Longwood bank

LONGWOOD, Fla. – A wig-wearing man robbed a Seminole County bank Monday morning.

Shortly before 11 a.m., the man entered the Bank of America at 2601 W. State Road 434 in Longwood and verbally demanded cash from the teller, according to sheriff's officials.

The teller complied with the man's demand and handed him an undisclosed amount of cash.  The thief did not imply or display a weapon.

The man then fled the scene.

The culprit was described as white man in his mid-30s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing blue jeans, a white shirt and a dark-colored jacket. He wore a black, long-haired wig under a plaid ball cap.
