Cruz Goytia, 32, is a person of interest in a 2012 homicide.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando homicide detectives are looking for a person of interest they want to question about a 2012 murder that happened in a downtown parking garage.

Detectives said they believe that Cruz Emmanual Goytia, 32, might have information about the death of Pedro Gallardo, 23, of Sanford.

Detectives said they believe that Goytia is living in the Kissimmee area.

Anyone who knows Goytia's whereabouts is asked to call the Orlando Police Department or Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.

Another man was extradited from the Dominican Republic in 2015 and arrested on charges related to Gallardo’s death, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

Ronny Batista, 30, is charged with first-degree murder.

Police sent out a notice last June asking the public to help find brothers, Goytia and Xavier Goytia, who police said were present when Gallardo was shot.

A spokeswoman for the Orlando Police Department told News 6 that new information about Cruz Goytia prompted another call to the public to help find him.
