TAMPA, Fla. - It's move-in day for the Republican National Convention.
Monday is the day when convention organizers begin the six-week process of turning the Tampa Bay Times Forum into the television-ready venue that will showcase Mitt Romney's nomination.
A news conference and tour is scheduled for Monday afternoon at the Forum.
It will take $20 million and hundreds of workers to transform the building. Workers must build stages, construct platforms for the media, configure seating and assemble lighting, electrical and internet services.
The convention will be held from Aug. 27-30.
