ORLANDO, Fla. -

A popular ride at Universal Orlando was shut down Thursday after a woman was injured.

According to a park employee, the woman suffered a minor injury after some sort of incident on the Rip Ride Rockit coaster, requiring employees to stop the ride.

Officials said the ride will not reopen until "the issue is safely resolved."

The Rip Ride Rockit coaster opened in 2009 and has a top speed of 65 miles per hour.
