Powerball jackpot now 10th largest in history

Jackpot hits $403 million

ORLANDO, Fla. – The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing has grown to $403 million after no one matched all six numbers in Saturday night's drawing. 

The jackpot is the 10th largest in Powerball history.

Officials say the one-time cash option for the winner would be $243.9 million. However, claiming the prize won't be easy. The odds of winning are 1 in 292 million.

Here's what $400 million could buy -- and more:

A small single-engine airplane or light sport aircraft is around $50,000, whereas an average jet costs over $700,000 per year.

The most expensive car in the world is a Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita that retails for $4.8 million.

Book a stay at the Royal Penthouse Suite at the Hotel President Wilson Hotel, which has panoramic views of Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc. A stay at the hotel is $65,000 per night.

Go see the Britney Spears show, where you and five friends can see her up close and personal, receive autographed merchandise, a complimentary bottle of Moet & Chandon Imperial for the table and much more. You can enjoy the show for $5,554. If your jam isn’t Britney, you and your best friend can go see Adele in Australia for $5.527, but you may or may not be near the stage.

Cliché or not, you could always go on an ultimate shopping spree to the most expensive stores in the world, such as Beverly Hills to visit the House of Bijan, Versace in Rome, or maybe even Oscar de la Renta in New York.

Jackpot prizes are paid in 30 annual installments or as a one-time, lump-sum payment. Jackpot prizes must be claimed within 60 days to receive the cash option of an estimated $189.3 million. Winners have 180 days from the applicable drawing to claim their prize.

Florida is among the top-selling Powerball states in the country with more than $3.9 billion in sales, funding $1.6 billion into education.
