ORLANDO, Fla. - Pre-trial hearings were held Monday in the case of an Orange County sheriff's sergeant charged with DUI.
Kevin Meyer was arrested in May after he crashed into another car and allowed witnesses to leave the scene, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Sources told Local 6 that even though Meyer refused to take a breath test at the scene, he later took one while in custody and had a blood alcohol level of 0.13, nearly twice the legal limit to drive.
It's not yet been determined when his trial will take place.
