Mother of Pulse shooting victim, survivors speak at DNC

PHILADELPHIA – The mother of one of the Pulse nightclub shooting victims and two survivors spoke at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday.

Christine Leinonen, whose son Christopher "Drew" Leinonen was killed in the Pulse attack, and survivors Brandon Wolf and Jose Arraigada, discussed gun control legislation.

Christopher, 32, attended the University of Central Florida. He and his partner, Juan Ramon Guerrero, were two of the 49 killed in the June 12 shooting. Fifty-three others were injured.

Their remarks come on the third day of the DNC, which is being held in Philadelphia until Thursday.
