ORLANDO, Fla. – Time is ticking to file your claim for the OneOrlando Fund. Over $23 million has been donated to help support the hundreds of people impacted by the Pulse tragedy on June 12.

Now victims of this tragedy can take steps to get their share of these donations. So far 98 claims have been filed, according to the mayor’s office that's right on track.
But officials say give yourself some time. All the documents must be filled out completely, notarized and you may need to get additional required documents.
Keep in mind, your claim must be submitted by mail or overnight courier to the fund administrator in Washington, D.C., so it must be postmarked by Sept. 12.
The FBI warns against anyone thinking about filing a fraudulent claim.
In fact, according to the FBI, their Office for Victims’ Assistance is verifying the victim status for every application to OneOrlando Fund, making sure each claim is legitimate.
The FBI says the process of verifying each victims claim is ongoing.
But victims of the Pulse tragedy have to be certified which means they had to come out, filled out paperwork and were interviewed.
