Orlando Magic to dedicate opening game to Pulse victims

Magic v. Heat game will host survivors and victims' families

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Magic's opening game against the Miami Heat will be dedicated to the 49 Pulse nightclub shooting victims, with a special tribute to first responders, according to a news release from the Magic.

The Wednesday, Oct. 26 game will feature a video highlighting the City of Orlando's unity after the June 12 shooting at the nightclub on South Orange Ave.

Orlando Magic players will also have a moment of silence and will honor the emergency responders, who responded on the night of the shooting, as the "Hometown Heroes."

Pulse shooting survivors and victims' family members will be in attendance at the game.

During the pregame ceremonies the Magic will raise a banner with the No. 49. Each victims name will be written inside the No. 49.
