Raccoon Enters Home; Family Calls 911

Orange County Firefighters Fail In Attempt To Remove Animal

ORLANDO, Fla. - A family called 911 early Friday morning after a raccoon somehow entered their Pine Hills home.

Orange County firefighters spent more than an hour trying to capture and remove the animal from the Cannes Place home, which is located near Pine Hills Road.

Firefighters eventually gave up, saying the homeowner would have to call animal control to have the raccoon removed.

It's not known if the animal is still inside the home.

No one was injured.
