ORLANDO, Fla. – Rain poured on Central Florida Friday afternoon as storms moved through just in time for the weekend.

Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued in Orange and Osceola counties, as flood advisories were issued in Volusia and Flagler counties Friday afternoon.
Winds of up to 60 mph knocked over trees across Orlando, one of which fell on State Road 528 just west of State Road 520, but didn't strike any cars.
Another tree blew over and hit a house on Shannon Road, but no one was home so no one was injured.
Meanwhile, Orange County Fire Rescue assisted Maitland Fire Department with a report of a lightning striking a house on Magnolia Road. Also in Maitland, tree branches fell on cars, backing up traffic on Maitland Boulevard.
In Winter Springs, Winding Hollow Boulevard was shut down with no access off of State Road 434 because of flooding.
The storms even affected computer systems at the Port Orange Public Works Department.
The high temperature in Orlando on Friday will reach 93 degrees.
Overnight lows will be in mid-70s.
"Drier air is working in behind this front," said Bridges, adding that rain chances drop each day over the weekend.

The chance for rain stands at 30 percent on Saturday and 20 percent on Sunday.
