Remnants of Tropical Storm Karen bring rain to Central Florida

High temperatures in Orlando reach upper 80s

ORLANDO, Fla. – Tropical Storm Karen may be no more, but what's left of the weather system affected Central Florida's weather on Monday.

"Remnants of Tropical Storm Karen will move into the Orlando area along a cool front that will increase rain chances," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said earlier in the day.

A line of showers passed through downtown Orlando around 2 p.m., and there was a 50 percent coverage of rain across Central Florida.

The chance of rain decreases to 20 percent for Tuesday into the weekend as the remnant low moves away.

High temperatures will be in the upper 80s into the weekend.
